Realme is reportedly in the works to launch the Realme 6 series of smartphones in the coming days. So far, the company has not given any official statement on the devices, but a recent Geekbench listing of a new Realme device might give us a hint as to what we can expect from the Realme 6. The Realme device that has been spotted on the Geekbench database website comes with the model number Realme RMX2027 and is being speculated to be the Realme 6 device.

Lastly, the device will run on Android 10 out of the box. Whether or not the Realme 6 will ship with the newly announced Realme UI is still a mystery.

Fast charging has been one of the current trends in the smartphone market. OPPO has already unveiled its 66W fast charging with the OPPO Reno Ace smartphone and, as it turns out, it will soon announce its 80W Super VOOC charging technology. Furthermore, the upcoming Nubia Red Magic 5G smartphone is tipped to feature a whopping 100W fast charging. The new fast-charging technologies from both companies have recently been leaked. Let’s have a look at the latest report and find out what OPPO and Nubia might have in store for us.

The report has popped up on the internet courtesy of the Chinese leakster who goes by the name Digital Chat Station. The leakster has posted a picture of an OPPO smartphone getting charged at 80W charging speed.

Furthermore, the upcoming Nubia Red Magic 5G smartphone is also tipped to feature 100W wired fast-charging support. The company had already announced its upcoming 100W charging technology back in 2019 and appears to be readying the launch of its device. The Nubia Red Magic 5G is slated to be showcased during the MWC 2020. Even the official AnTuTu Weibo handle has recently posted about the 100W fast charging by Nubia, thereby double-checking the leak. Lastly, the company’s official handle has also started teasing the device. The Weibo post reads (roughly translated from Chinese), “It ’s been 7 days at home, and it ’s time to recharge. Do you think this speed is OK?” The attached image shows a device being charged. We can easily spot that the voltage is 8.4V and the current is 9.6A and the simple maths suggests that the effective wattage becomes 100W.

The Nubia Red Magic 5G is said to feature a 144Hz refresh rate display and is likely going to be powered with the Snapdragon 865 + X55 platform.
