To keep gamers engaged, the developers have even thrown in a new consumable which is known as a Shadow Stone. The Shadow Stone is supposedly a mini cube that gives you the power of invisibility for a short duration of time. However, with ever great ability comes a catch. In this case, when a player is invisible, he or she will not be able to equip any weapons or gadgets and must remain still in order to continue to be invisible. Any movement will leave behind a trail and alter the enemies.

Epic games claim that the invisibility will last for 45-seconds and will enable the player to have faster movements and even jump higher than normally allowed. In keeping with the theme of the game, you will have access to new cosmetics. However, the main game changer is going to be the inclusion of pets. Users will be able to select from a wide variety of animals as and when they choose. Some weapons have been restricted only to the Playground mode since they don’t suit the new shadow world. In order to ensure that players using a controller are not put together with those using a mouse and keyboard, Epic games will keep the mouse and keyboard players in PC matchmaking, eliminating the edge which they may have over those using controllers.
