Samsung has officially launched its Galaxy J6 Plus and the less powerful Galaxy J4 Plus, and after the global unveiling of these smartphones, they have finally made their way to India. Mohandeep Singh, Senior Vice President, Mobile Business, Samsung India, said:

Samsung Galaxy J6 Plus, J4 Plus: Price in India, Sale Date
The price of the Galaxy J6 Plus in India is set at Rs. 15,990 and it will be available in the colours Black, Blue and Red. As for the Galaxy J4 Plus, the smartphone carries a price of Rs. 10,990 and it will be available in the colours Black, Blue and Gold. Both devices are going to be available at Samsung India’s retail outlets, along with online channels such as Amazon, Flipkart, and Samsung’s own online stores.
The sale will take place on the 25th of September and as part of its launch offer, the Korean giant is discounting its one-time screen replacement offer to just Rs. 990. This offer is going to be valid until the 11th of November.

Samsung Galaxy J6 Plus: Specifications, Features
The Samsung Galaxy J6 Plus comes with a 6-inch Infinity Display that uses a 1480 x 720 resolution in an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The performance of the smartphone comes from a 1.4GHz quad-core processor and this performance is going to be supplemented by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. The memory is expandable via microSD card slot so it is great to see the Samsung has not omitted this feature on this device.
Coming to the camera specifications, the Galaxy J6 Plus sports a dual-camera at its rear side with a 13MP+5MP configuration and both lenses sport a different aperture, possibly for taking images better in varying lighting conditions as well as creating those snapped pictures appear with variable Bokeh effects. At the front of the smartphone, you get an 8MP sensor that sports a f/1.9 aperture, so expect it to perform decently in low-light when snapping selfies.
Coming to the connectivity options of the Galaxy J6 Plus, they include 4G VoLTE, single-band Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack, thankfully. Keeping the lights on is a 3300mAh battery, and if you’ll notice, there is no rear-mounted fingerprint reader here. Instead, Samsung has placed it on the side of the Galaxy J6 Plus, which is a different approach.
Samsung Galaxy J4 Plus: Specifications Features
The Galaxy J4 Plus features the same 6-inch HD+ 1480 x 720 display as the Galaxy J6 Plus and it is armed with a 1.4GHz octa-core processor, along with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. You can expand this existing storage via microSD card and the smartphone offers a decent camera configuration.
It offers a single 13MP rear camera unit with a f/1.9 aperture and a 5MP selfie-snapper at the front of the smartphone. Coming to the connectivity options, the Galaxy J4 Plus offers 4G VoLTE, single-band Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, GLONASS, NFC, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Powering the phone is the same 3300mAh battery found in the Galaxy J6 Plus.
