The biggest benefit is dished out to users who are willing to upgrade their existing plans to a one-year-plan, as they will get four months of additional free service. Their new one-year plan will be automatically extended to 16 months, and hence, they will be able to enjoy the broadband service in that plan for 16 months while paying for only 12 months. Users currently on plans with validity of six months, three months, and one month are eligible to upgrade in this plan. In other words, all existing users who are not already on one-year plans can upgrade to it and enjoy four months of extra services for free.

If, however, the existing users wish to move from three-month plans to six-month plans, they will instead get two months of additional free service, the total plan validity extending to eight months in place of six. The said offer is applicable to all plans of service by YOU Broadband. The plan you are using and the plan you can upgrade to can be seen in details on the website of YOU Broadband. However, you will need to either log in with your registered credentials or at least enter the city you live in, so that the plan details can be listed on the website. This is because the plans vary from city to city. For instance, in Mumbai, the monthly Dual Speed (FUP) Plan with 20 Mbps speed costs Rs. 1,180 and provides 200GB of FUP download limit, following which the speed will be reset to 1 Mbps, whereas, the same plan will cost Rs. 1,506 in Pune and provide 300GB of download limit, with the same speeds. Both plan prices are inclusive of taxes.
Similarly, in Hyderabad you can choose a Dual Speed Plan with 100 Mbps speed for three months and pay Rs 2,655, whereas, you will pay Rs 5,352 in Bengaluru. The difference is that in the same plan in Hyderabad, you will get 1800GB of download limit, following which the speed will be reset to 2 Mbps, while in Bengaluru you will get 3900GB of download limit and 4 Mbps post-FUP speed.
