Xiaomi Mi MIX 3, which has already launched in China, is now getting a new MIUI 10 stable update. The new update brings slider settings and fixes various reported issues. Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 is one of the latest flagship offerings from the Chinese smartphone maker. The device comes with a slider design and an all-screen bezel-less display giving it an impressive screen-to-body ratio of 93.4%. The device directly competes with the likes of Oppo Find X and Vivo Nex. Xiaomi is also expected to launch Mi Mix 3 in the Indian market at its upcoming Mi Explorer event.

Xiaomi has now started rolling out the new MIUI 10 update to its popular Mi MIX 3 smartphone. The new OTA updates the device to the latest MIUI 10.0.12.0 version. As mentioned earlier, the update brings new and improved slider settings. Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 now has various slider settings along with support for self-timer, tool drawer, launch application and many more. In addition, you can also add sounds to the slider mechanism. All the sliders settings can be found in the Settings application under the Slider Setting section. The brand has now added five new sliding screen sounds effect which you can also find under the settings. Interestingly, Xiaomi has also added a new feature called “One Push and Reach”. With this feature, users can now access a particular app just by sliding the screen.
Apart from adding new options, Xiaomi has also fixed multiple bugs with this new update. With the new stable update, a system power consumption anomaly is finally fixed. Apart from this, the brand has finally fixed the annoying status bar bug which many users were facing for the last couple of weeks. The new MIUI 10 update has also fixed some camera-related bugs like not working of flash in some cases. In another news, Xiaomi is also hosting an event in New York in the coming days. It seems like the brand might finally enter the US market with its Mi MIX 3 flagship smartphone.

The Mi MiX 3 features a 6.39-inch AMOLED HDR display having an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The device has a full-screen display on the front which is supplied by Samsung. this is the company’s first smartphone to adopt the new camera slider mechanism giving it a screen-to-body ratio of 93.4%. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of onboard memory. In terms of optics, the device is equipped with a dual 12MP+12MP camera setup at the back. Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 can record 4K Ultra HD resolution videos at up to 60fps and slow-motion videos at up to 960fps. Like rear, there is a dual 24MP+2MP camera sensor on the front for selfies. The front cameras are equipped with AI-related capabilities such as AI Smart Beauty, AI Face Unlock and AI Studio Lighting.
Unfortunately, there is no 3.5mm headphone jack on the device so forget charging your device and listening to the music at the same time. All of this is backed by a 3200mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0+ support. Additionally, the device also supports 10W fast wireless charging. Other specifications include Android 8.1 Oreo, Dual 4G VoLTE, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C port, and Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy.
