ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M1 Price in India Permanently Cut by Rs 1,000 Across All Variants on Flipkart

Here’s some good news for potential smartphone buyers in India: ASUS has permanently dropped the price of the Zenfone Max Pro M1 (Review). It was already one of the best devices in its price range, and with a price drop of Rs 1,000 across all its variants, the ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M1 is now even more appealing for consumers.

The ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M1 was released in India last year but it still competes with the likes of the Motorola One Power and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro. Let’s have a look at the final pricing of all the variants of the Zenfone Max Pro M1 after the permanent price drop on Flipkart.

ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M1 Price Drop

After a permanent price cut of Rs 1,000, the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant of the Max Pro M1 costs Rs 9,999. The variant with 4GB RAM + 64GB storage costs Rs 11,999. Both these variants of the phone are available in Black, Blue, and Grey.

Coming to the highest end variant of the Max Pro M1, which comes with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage, it costs Rs 13,999. This variant of the phone is available in Black and Blue color variants. All these variants are available for purchase in India exclusively through Flipkart.

Which Zenfone Max Pro M1 Variant Should You Buy?

All the variants of the ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M1 have a 5.99-inch IPS LCD screens with Full HD+ resolution and no notch. All of them also feature metal bodies, dual-camera setups on the rear, Snapdragon 636 processor, stock Android 8.1 Oreo UI, fingerprint readers, and 5000mAh batteries. The only difference is in terms of RAM, storage, and cameras.

The lowest-priced variant of the Zenfone Max Pro M1 has 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, a 13MP+5MP rear-facing dual-camera setup, and an 8MP selfie camera. The variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage space has a 13MP+5MP dual-camera setup on the rear and an 8MP selfie camera as well. The variant that’s priced at Rs 13,999 has 6GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, a 16MP+5MP dual-camera setup at the rear, and a 16MP selfie camera at the front. So, which variant should you buy? Well, according to our tests, the variant of the Zenfone Max Pro M1 with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage will be enough for most people.

If you have a slightly higher budget, it would be better to go with the recently released Zenfone Max Pro M2 instead as it comes with a faster processor in the form of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660, thinner bezels, a better and shinier design, a better rear-facing camera (thanks to a larger sensor) and NFC.

If you are interested in smartphones from other brands as well, we would advise you to have a look at the Motorola One Power (Review), Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, and the Mi A2 (Review). The Motorola One Power has already received the Android 9 Pie update and it has a USB Type-C port rather than a microUSB 2.0 port. It also lasts slightly longer than the Zenfone Max Pro M1 on a single charge. The Redmi Note 6 Pro has two cameras at the front, MIUI 10 software which has a lot of additional features, and better front and rear-facing cameras. The Mi A2 is a lot slimmer, features the faster Snapdragon 660 processor, and has exceptional cameras compared to all the other phones mentioned here.
