Mate 20 Pro on Sale Via Amazon with Free Huawei Wireless Charger, Offers from SBI and Vodafone Idea

Huawei’s 2018 flagship, the Mate 20 Pro went on sale early last month here in India. The phone touted as one of the best flagship phones to have released last year also happens to be quite an expensive proposition. However, Huawei is leaving no stone unturned to sweeten the deal using several bundled offers and freebies. At the time of launch, for example, consumers had the option to buy Sennheiser’s high-end PXC 550 headphones for just a few thousand rupees extra. While that deal is no longer available, Huawei recently announced several new bundled offers that will be applicable if you decide to purchase a brand new Mate 20 Pro today.

Huawei’s official Twitter account on January tweeted out a new offer that was hitherto not available with the device. Consumers who buy a new Mate 20 Pro today will get Huawei’s wireless charger for free. Note that this wireless charger is available separately for INR 3,999 and is capable of quick charging any smartphone that supports the Qi charging standard at 15W.

Apart from the free wireless charger, the handset also comes with a bundled offers from  Vodafone Idea. Users on this network stand a chance to get a 20% discount on their rental amount. This is apart from discounted data rates, and additional data offers that they could possibly avail. If you happen to own an SBI Credit Card, you can avail an additional 5% cashback on the MRP of the handset along with the option to avail an EMI offer.  The phone is also available on no-cost EMI with ICICI Credit Cards and Amazon Pay.

As mentioned earlier, the Wireless Charger that is currently offered for free is based on the Qi wireless charging standard. It is capable of intelligently identifying the object (that supports Qi wireless charging) placed on the charging dock and adjust the power output automatically.  Currently, there are several earbuds that support wireless charging, and these typically require much lesser power than a smartphone. The charger is also able to turn the power off if other objects like keys, cards or other metal objects are accidentally placed on the dock.
