Xiaomi introduced the Redmi Note 7 Pro in India last week, alongside a slightly downgraded version of the Redmi Note 7 that it launched in China in January this year. The company’s next budget Android smartphone is expected to be the Redmi 7, which was spotted at the US FCC last month. Redmi 7 has now been spotted on the TENAA website, revealing its partial spec sheet.
Redmi 7 to Sport a 6.26-inch Display
The Redmi 7 M1810F6LE listing on TENAA reveals the upcoming smartphone will have a 6.26-inch sized display. Its predecessor, the Redmi 6, features a 5.45-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution. Thanks to the larger display, the smartphone will be bigger compared to the Redmi 6 in terms of physical dimensions as well. According to the smartphone’s listing on TENAA, the Redmi 7 measures 158.65 x 76.43 x 8.9mm. For reference, the Redmi 6 measures 147.5 x 71.5 x 8.3mm.

The TENAA listing also confirms the battery capacity of the Redmi 7. While the Redmi 6 only packs a 3000mAh non-removable battery, the Redmi 7 is listed to include a 3900mAh battery. Since TENAA usually lists the minimum battery capacity on its website, the typical capacity of the battery powering the Redmi 7 will likely be 4000mAh. The rest of the smartphone’s hardware specifications have not been listed on the TENAA website just yet. That said, it may not take very long for TENAA to update the M1810F6LE listing on its website with all the key specifications as well as images of the handset.
While the rest of the smartphone’s hardware specs have not been revealed yet, the FCC filings have confirmed that it will be available in three memory configurations. The base variant of the smartphone will have 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Redmi 7 will also be available in 3GB RAM + 64GB storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variants.
