Xiaomi had recently announced that it will launch the Redmi Note 9 series smartphones on the 12th of March, 2020. And the leaks so far have revealed that there will be two phones in the series – the Redmi Note 9 Pro and the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max. While a couple of specifications of the Redmi Note 9 Pro have already leaked, Ishan Agrawal, a well-known person when it comes to leaking information of upcoming smartphones, has revealed a full feature list of the smartphone.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro Leaked Specifications
According to him, the Redmi Note 9 Pro will feature a 6.67-inch LCD with Full HD+ resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The rear camera setup of the smartphone will have a 48MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, a 5MP macro camera, and a 5MP depth sensor. The selfie camera is said to be a 16MP unit. In terms of power, the device will have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chipset. And there will be two memory configurations to choose from – 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. The battery will be a 5020mAh unit with 18W charging speed. Along with all these specifications, the leakster also reveals that the Redmi Note 9 Pro will be available in Aurora Blue, Glacier White, and Interstellar Black color variants.

Going by these specifications, it looks like the Redmi Note 9 Pro is aimed to be a direct competitor to the recently-launched Realme 6 Pro. That being said, it is also possible that the Redmi Note 9 Pro is aimed to be a competitor to the Realme 6. And the other smartphone in the series, Redmi Note 9 Pro Max, will be the one to compete with the Realme 6 Pro. We can’t say for sure until we get to know the specifications of the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max.
