OnePlus Watch officially confirmed to run on WearOS

In an interview with Input, Pete Lau revealed that the OnePlus Watch could hit the commercial shelves anytime soon now. Plus, contrary to the earlier belief that the OnePlus Watch would boot some sort of proprietary Watch OS, Lau revealed that the OnePlus Watch would indeed come with Google’s very own WearOS watch platform.

That being said, there is still no official confirmation as to when we might get to see the OnePlus Watch in the market. Rumor mill is speculating the launch to happen sometime in Q1, 2021. There is a strong possibility that the watch could very well be unveiled alongside the upcoming OnePlus 9 series of smartphones, but this is mere speculation as of now, so we would suggest our readers to take this with a slight grain of salt before things become officially clear.
