POCO launched its M3 smartphone in the global market back in November, just before the Black Friday sale and it seems that the company is planning to launch the smartphone soon in India. We are not claiming this, the POCO M3 has reportedly received the TUV Rheinland certification hinting towards an imminent launch. Here’s a closer look at the TUV Rheinland certification of the POCO M3.
POCO M3 Receives TUV Rheinland Certification
According to the Gizmochina report, the Indian variant of the POCO M3 is listed with a model number of M2010J19CI on TUV certification. The global variant has appeared with a model number M2010J19CG and M2010J19CT. Meanwhile, the certification site has also listed the Chinese variant of Redmi Note 9 4G with model number M2010J19SC.
Just to let you know, the POCO M3 has almost similar specifications like Redmi Note 9 4G the rear camera module and the back panel are the only aspects which make them separate from each other. A couple of months back the company launched the POCO M2 smartphone in India, and now the TUV certification is pointing towards the arrival of the POCO M3 in the country as its successor. However, it is still not confirmed whether the company is going to launch the smartphone by the end of 2020 or not.

POCO M3 specifications
Thanks to the global launch at least we know about the specification of the phone. The POCO M3 flaunts a 6.53-inch IPS LCD display with an FHD+ resolution. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 662 chipset, clubbed with up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB of onboard storage. Users can also expand the storage via microSD card, the handset runs on Android 10 operating system.
At the back, the POCO M3 features a triple rear camera module with the combination of 48-megapixel + 2-megapixel macro lens + 2-megapixel depth sensor along with an LED flash. Upfront, it houses an 8-megapixel camera setup for selfies and video calls. The smartphone is fuelled by a massive 6,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
