PUBG has announced a new Challenger Battle Royale Mode. The new PUBG Labs mode explores various experimental settings, features, and modes within the game in a special new section of the outgame menu. In this Challenger Battle Royale mode, the damage of firearms, melee weapons, and throwables are doubled in order to shorten time-to-kill. The new mode is based in Sanhok. The Blue Zone does the normal amount of damage to players and moves at the same speed and timing as normal Battle Royale matches. There will be no Player HUD and only the player’s health will be shown. Let’s take a look at the new PUBG Mobile Challenger Battle Royale.
PUBG Mobile introduces new Challenger Battle Royale Mode
PUBG Labs has introduced a new Challenger Battle Royale Mode. The new mode comes with double damage for firearms and weapons. It will be based in Sanhok with up to 100 players in each match.
Several changes have been made in the PUBG Labs Challenger Battle Royale Mode. The user interface will only display the player’s health. This means that the new mode will not show the typical play situations like compass, mini-map, ammo, kill feed, and alive player counter.
A single red flare is fired that indicates the Warning phase. This indicates the circle’s centre and identifies the safe zone. The red flare will be visible only until the Blue Zone starts to move. Three consecutive red flares indicate the closing phase. These flares will occur in the centre of the safe zone and light up the surrounding area. The flare will be visible until the Blue Zone stops.
In the Challenger Battle Royale Mode, the Blue Zone does the normal amount of damage to players and moves at the same speed and timing as normal Battle Royale matches.
The PUBG Labs Challenger Battle Royale Mode for PC and console will go live after the completion of maintenance on March 10.
