Realme has confirmed that the 8 Pro will have a 108MP quad-camera setup on the back. The phone will also have an AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint scanner. Realme’s Francis has also previously hinted at the 5G network support feature on the 8 series.
A recently teased box hinted that the Realme 8 will have a MediaTek Helio G95 processor, which is a 4G chip. The 8 Pro is tipped to come in 4G and 5G models, with the former featuring a Snapdragon 720G SoC. The 5G model could come with a MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor found on the Realme X7 5G and Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G. The 8 Pro is expected to pack a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging support, and come with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB native storage. We can also expect the 8 Pro to feature a 90Hz or a 120Hz refresh rate display.
Twitter user Himanshu recently leaked that the standard 8 model will come in 4GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB storage configurations. It will launch in two colours – Cyber Silver and Black. The 8 Pro will launch in 6GB + 128GB and 8GB +128GB storage options. The phone will come in Infinite Black / Blue & Illuminating Yellow colours.
