Honor 10 GT now has a new colour variant in China. The colour hue is being referred to as the Lily of the Valley. It’s quite an interesting colour variant for the premium smartphone, especially considering the fact that it can change its colour depending on the angle of the light being reflected from the surface.
The Honor 10 GT Lily of Valley was launched alongside the Honor Note 10 phablet in the company’s homeland. As the name suggests, the all-new colour variant of the smartphone shares a lot in common with the Honor 10, the flagship device from Honor that was launched earlier this year. The Honor 10 is, in fact, available for sale in India at a price of Rs 32,999.
Honor 10 GT: Lily of the Valley Colour Variant Launched
The all-new Lily of Valley variant of the Honor 10 GT comes with the similar curved glass design seen in the original Honor 10. Huawei apparently claims that the Honor 10 GT is the first curved back smartphone in the world with a colour changing design. Its seems that Honor used multiple layers of glass while designing the back of the smartphone and is depending upon the changing refractive index to reproduce three different colours namely light green, pale red and mint green.

Honor 10 GT: Specifications, Features
The Honor 10 GT shares almost all of its internal specifications with that of the Honor 10. The most striking feature of the front of the smartphone is its 5.84-inch Full HD+ (2,160 x 1,080p) IPS display that comes with a notch. The display has minimal bezels on all three sides, with the exception for the chin of the smartphone. This chin also bears a rectangular home button that doubles up as a fingerprint sensor.
Underneath the hood, the Honor 10 GT is powered by Hi-Silicon Kirin 970 octa-core processor. This is coupled with a whopping 8GB of RAM. It is one of the striking features of the Honor 10 GT. The original Honor 10, on the other hand, came with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM. Another highlighting feature of the Honor 10 GT is the presence of Huawei’s native GPU Turbo technology, which is also highlighted the name of the device as GT stands for GPU Turbo. The all-new Honor smartphone comes with 128GB of internal storage.
The camera department is one of the strong points of the Honor 10 GT. It packs a dual rear camera that comprises a 24MP primary and a 16MP secondary sensor coupled with a Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF) sensor. The rear camera is backed by strong AI technology that’s primarily built into the native camera app. The camera app, in fact, provides an array of shooting modes. Besides, the Honor 10 GT Lily of the Valley variant features a 24MP selfie snapper.
The Honor 10 GT comes with a 3,400mAh battery. It comes with support for Fast charging technology. The flagship smartphone runs on Android Oreo 8.1 with EMUI 8.1 on top. The rest of the specifications include WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, A-GPS, GLONASS, and NFC.
Honor 10 GT: Price, Availability
In spite of announcing the new Honor 10 GT alongside the Honor Note 10, the Huawei backed sub-brand hasn’t yet revealed any details regarding the price of the smartphone. It is expected to be priced slightly higher than the standard Honor 10. Especially, considering the fact that the smartphone comes with added RAM and GPU Turbo technology. No information regarding the launch date of the smartphone is known so far.
