
ZTE’s subsidiary brand, Nubia had announced its Nubia Z17s smartphone back in October 2017. Now, almost after a gap of 10 months, Nubia is finally bringing the Z17s successor in the form of Nubia Z18 soon. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer recently has scheduled an event in China on September 5 where it will be announcing the Nubia Z17 officially.
The handset had received the TENAA certification in China back in April, which had exposed the specifications of the smartphone along with the images in full glory. Read on ahead, if you are interested in what the Nubia Z18 will offer:
Going by the details that were revealed by TENAA listing, the smartphone will most probably feature a 5.99-inch IPS LCD 2.5D curved glass display with 2160 × 1080 pixels FHD+ resolution, and an 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone will likely be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 chipset, that will be aided with Adreno 630 GPU. The handset might come in two different configurations, offering a 6GB and 8GB RAM along with 64GB and 128GB storage respectively. On the software side, the Z18 undoubtedly, will be running on Android 8.1 Oreo-based Nubia UI out of the box.
The smartphone is supposed to sport a dual camera setup with a primary sensor being a 24-megapixel one. The dual rear-facing camera will have a AI features, and it will be accompanied by a dual-toned LED flash. It is expected to feature an 8MP front-facing camera. The handset even will have a fingerprint sensor located at the rear side. Connectivity-wise, the device should ship in with dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n ac, Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS/A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The whole package is supposed to be backed by a 3350mAh battery that beyond a shadow of a doubt will have a fast charging support.

Given that the release date of the Z18 officially revealed by Nubia, we expect to know more detailed specifications of the phone, including pricing and availability of the same before it launches next week. Additionally, there are hardly any chances that the Nubia will be bringing this specified handset to India, considering its lack of presence in the country with mostly mid-range devices.
