On the eve of celebrating a milestone achievement of selling 500 million PlayStation consoles since the start of the company in the year 1994, Sony announced the launch of PS4 Pro 500 Million Limited Edition console to join the other in its Limited Edition line.

As per the PlayStation official blog, the latest Limited Edition console is set to hit the market on 24th Aug with an accompanying price of EUR 499 or RS.39,730. The gaming console will be available at select gaming stores.
The latest console comes in a distinctive diaphanous collector’s box packaging. It is translucent dark blue in colour. The 2TB Pro 500 Million come with a blue power light that lights up the console.
A commemorative copper plate with unique limited edition number is placed in front of the console. It comes with a matching DualShock 4 whose dark blue translucent design is complemented by a PS symbol in copper. Console’s vertical stand also comes in the same translucent dark blue.
Mono-headphones and a special PlayStation camera with a matching stand in dark blue are also part of the PS4 Pro 500 Million Limited Edition. The Mono-headsets and DualShock 4 Controller will be sold separately. The controller for PS4 Pro 500 Million Limited Edition will be released simultaneously with the console on 24th August and will cost around EUR 64 or in the whereabouts of 5,000 in INR. Meanwhile, the headsets will be available for purchase from 11th October and will cost EUR 89 or Rs.7,100.
Even though Sony India has been quite proactive in bringing PS4 gaming and accessories to the Indian market. This time, unfortunately, the launch of PS4 Pro 500 Million in India is still up in the air. With no further words from the company regarding the same and nobody any wiser, there is no guarantee that the product will ever come to India.
