Amazon.in today announced the dates for its biggest festive celebration ‘Great Indian Festival’ sale. Just like last year’s sale, the sale will kick off early for all the Amazon Prime members as part of Prime Early Access. As part of the sale, Amazon.in will be running deals on smartphones, large home appliances, TVs, home & kitchen products, fashions, consumer electronics, consumables, and more. The e-commerce giant also showcased its first ‘Amazon Festive Home’ in New Delhi, giving consumers a glimpse of its impressive selection across multiple product categories. More than 1,600 products from 100+ top Indian and international brands were showcased at the ‘Amazon Festive Home’.
Amazon Great Indian Festival: Sale Date
The Amazon Great Indian Festival sale will begin at 12 AM on October 10, 2018 and end at 11:59 PM on October 15, 2018. As mentioned above, Prime members will be getting Prime Early Access to the sale. Amazon’s main rival in India, Flipkart is holding its own festive sale, dubbed Big Billion Days Sale 2018, from October 10th to 14th this year.
Amazon Great Indian Festival Sale: Offers
In order to promote cashless transactions, Amazon.in has announced that it will be rewarding customers opting to pay for their purchases with SBI Debit and Credit Cards by offering an instant discount of 10%. If you don’t have an SBI Credit or Debit card, you can get Rs.300 as Amazon Pay balance by topping up your Amazon Pay balance during the sale. Apart from these offers, Amazon.in will be offering a No Cost EMI option to customers on all major credit cards as well as Bajaj Finserv cards. Don’t have a credit card? You can choose to purchase products on EMI even with a debit card or using Amazon Pay EMI. ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, and Axis Bank debit card holders can get a loan of up to Rs.1,00,000 to buy products on EMI on Amazon.in.

Amazon.in will be selling some of the country’s most popular smartphones at discounted prices along with total damage protection and exciting exchange offers. Exchange offers will also be available on top electronics products such as notebooks, printers, cameras, printers, and more. On TVs and large home appliances, Amazon.in is promising 48 hours installation and scheduled delivery options. Over 1 lakh styles from top fashion brands will also be up for grabs during the Great Indian Festival sale with a minimum discount of 50% and 30 days return period.
Amazon Great Indian Festival Sale: New Launches
In addition to the Festive Home, Amazon.in recently launched three new Echo devices – Echo Dot, Echo Plus, and Echo Sub. While the Echo Dot and Echo Plus can be pre-ordered on Amazon.in starting today, the Echo Sub will be available for purchase later this year. The e-commerce giant also showcased a few other Alexa-enabled devices such as Harman Kardon Allure, Jabra Elite 65T, Motorola Verve, and Eufy Genie in the Festive Home. Amazon Devices showcased an Alexa controlled IR Remote, which lets users control their smart TV using voice commands.

These fulfilment centres offer a storage capacity of over 20 million cubic feet.
