In the latest development, a spy shot was taken in an Honor experience store. In the following image, you can see a business card that doesn’t reveal the configurations properly but the pricing is quite clear. The Honor 8X will sell for 2,099 Yuan (INR 21,884) if this spy shot has any reality to it. Since the configuration is still dicey, we don’t know for sure if the price tag is justified. However, the Honor president Zhao Ming stated, “If the Honor 8X Max is too hard, then the glory 8X is even harder! Not only have you stepped through 90 together The screen is a watershed, and there are higher peaks waiting for us.”

The Honor 8X is rumored to feature a 6.5-inch Full HD+ notched display with a tall 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is expected to be powered by HiSilicon’s latest Kirin 710 chipset. The Kirin 710 is an octa-core processor clocked at up to 2.2 GHz with an ARM Mali-G51 MP4 GPU. For storing apps and data, the smartphone is expected to be available in two configurations – 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. As per the TENAA listing, the Honor 8X will be fuelled by a 3650mAh capacity non-removable battery with fast charging support. On the software front, the Honor 8X is expected to run on the Android 8.1 Oreo-based EMUI 8.2 out of the box.

The display on the device would be a Full HD+ with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. As per the leaked TENAA listing, the Honor 8X Max would measure 177.57 x 86.24 x 8.13 mm and it will weigh in at 210 grams.
Taking the screen size into consideration, the Honor 8X is expected to provide the device with a big battery. The device is supposed to be equipped with a massive 4900mAh battery. Under the hood, the device is likely to be loaded with an octa-core Hisilicon Kirin 710, paired with 4GB RAM and combined with Mali-G51 MP4 graphics unit. The Honor 8X Max is expected to feature two storage configurations- 64GB and 128GB, just like the Honor 8X. You can also expand the memory further by up to 256GB via a microSD card.
In the optics department, the Honor 8X Max is expected to feature a 16MP + 2MP dual camera setup at its back. On the front, there will be a 24MP camera for selfies, video calling, and possibly face unlocking.
On the software front, the Honor 8X Max will run the Android 8.1 (Oreo) with the company’s EMUI skin on the top. On the connectivity front, the options that will tag along with the Honor 8X Max will include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.2 with Low Energy, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, and microUSB 2.0.
