The Redmi 6 is a new smartphone that features a 5.45-inch 1440 x 720 HD+ resolution display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and a screen-to-body ratio of 80.7 percent. For performance, the device is rocking a MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core chipset that has been paired with an IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU clocked at 650MHz. Xiaomi’s Redmi 5A is more affordable and comes with a 5.0-inch IPS LCD screen along with a resolution of 1280 × 720. Packing the Snapdragon 425 chipset along with 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, with the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage for the top-tier version, the phone performs fairly well, allowing switching of apps with a reasonable level of performance.
The internal storage is expandable up to 256GB with the help of a microSD card. The Xiaomi Redmi 5A can also capture images of a reasonable quality with its 13MP rear camera and 5MP front shooter. This smartphone packs a decent battery capacity of 3000mAh and along with all these features, the Redmi 5A also runs the Android 7.1.2 Nougat update.
