Idea Cellular Launches ‘Prepaid Idea Select Privilege Program’ for Prepaid Users: Benefits, Eligibility

Bharti Airtel recently re-introduced its Airtel Thanks loyalty program with three different tiers. In order to counter Airtel, Idea has now introduced a revamped “Idea Select” privilege program for its loyal prepaid customers. The Idea Select program has three different tiers – Gold, Platinum, and Titanium. Each tier offers special privileges to access exclusive benefits and experiences.

Prepaid Idea Select Privilege Program Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Prepaid Idea Select privilege program, you will need to have been an Idea subscriber for at least three months. The Prepaid Idea Select Gold program requires an average monthly usage of INR 725 with minimum usage of INR 375. Idea subscribers with an average monthly usage of INR 1,500 and minimum usage of INR 725 will be eligible to be a member of the Prepaid Idea Select Platinum program. The top Titanium tier requires an average monthly usage of INR 3,000.

Prepaid Idea Select Privilege Program Benefits

The Prepaid Idea Select Gold program gives members special privileges such as direct and faster resolution when contacting Idea customer care, faster resolution of queries at the customer care center, and provision to carry forward your preferential status when you move to a different city. Idea Select Gold members will also be able to access a customized My Idea app to manage their account and check out specially curated offers as well as exciting deals. Additionally, the program promises a 20% discount (up to INR 100) every month on movie tickets. Apart from these offers, customers will also be able to access lifestyle offers throughout the year from over 100 reputed brands across dining, lifestyle, travel, fashion, fitness, footwear, entertainment, and e-tail segments.

The Prepaid Idea Select Platinum program offers all the special privileges that the Gold tier offers. However, instead of a 20% discount on movie tickets, Platinum members will get 1 complimentary matinee movie ticket every month (Max INR 150 per ticket) from BookMyShow. On the other hand, the Prepaid Ideal Select Titanium program guarantees 2 complimentary matinee movie tickets every month. Rest of the benefits remain identical to the Platinum program. Unlike Bharti Airtel, however, Idea is currently not offering a free subscription to any major video streaming service with its loyalty program.
