Back in March this year, Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi announced that it was working on a new 100W Super Charge Turbo technology, which would allow a smartphone with a 4000mAh battery to be fully charged in just 17 minutes. Rival Chinese Android OEM Vivo has now come up with an even more impressive fast charging technology, dubbed FlashCharge 120W.

Vivo’s new fast charging technology, according to the poster released by the company on Weibo, will allow to fully charge a 4000mAh battery in just 13 minutes. That’s four minutes less than Xiaomi’s 100W fast charging technology. Apart from that, however, Vivo is yet to reveal any other details regarding the new FlashCharge 120W technology. According to Chinese media, Vivo may showcase its new fast charging technology at MWC 2019 Shanghai next week. The exhibition will be held from June 26 to June 28 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. Along with FlashCharge 120W, Vivo is expected to showcase its 5G smartphones as well at the same event.
