A few days ago, Lenovo revealed it through Twitter that the brand will launch three new smartphones in India on 5th September – the Z6 Pro, K10 Note, and the A6 Note. The Lenovo Z6 Pro has already been launched in China, so we know its specifications. However, we did not know the specifications of the K10 Note and the A6 Note as they haven’t been launched anywhere in the world yet.
Well, Flipkart has now created dedicated teaser pages for the K10 Note and the A6 Note, which reveal the specifications of both devices. Going by the specifications, it looks like the K10 Note will be a lower mid-range smartphone, while the A6 Note will a more affordable offering that will take its place in the entry-level smartphones. Let us check them out both of them.
Lenovo K10 Note Official Specifications
The Lenovo K10 Note features a 6.3-inch IPS LCD with Full HD+ resolution. And like most other lower mid-range smartphones nowadays, the display of the K10 Note has a notch at the top – a U-shaped notch to be precise.
Inside the Lenovo K10 Note is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset. The Snapdragon 710 is powerful enough to offer a stutter-free performance and handle graphics-heavy games like PUBG without any major issues. That being said, we can comment on the performance of the K10 Note only after using the device. Lenovo hasn’t revealed the RAM and storage capacities yet. You can expect the device to be offered in two or three memory configurations. The entry-level variant might have 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, while the top-end variant might have 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. There is no information regarding the OS, but it is only obvious that there will be Android 9 Pie.
The Lenovo K10 Note features a triple-camera setup at the rear. Usually, triple-camera setup in lower mid-range smartphones offer a primary camera, an ultrawide camera, and depth-sensor. The triple-camera setup in the K10, however, is different. The K10 Note has a 16MP primary camera, an 8MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom, and a 5MP depth sensor. So, instead of an ultrawide camera that most smartphones in the price range offer, the K10 Note has a telephoto camera. According to the teaser page on Flipkart, the rear camera also features Super Night Mode for enhanced photography in lowlight conditions. The selfie camera is a 16MP sensor.
According to the teaser page, the K10 Note packs a 4050mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. Lenovo hasn’t revealed the fast charging protocol details, but in my opinion, it could be Quick Charge 3.0 or Quick Charge 4+. The brand hasn’t revealed connectivity options either. However, the device images show that there will be a USB Type-C port on offer.
Lenovo A6 Note Official Specifications
The Lenovo A6 Note being a more affordable variant offers a 6.09-inch IPS LCD with HD+ resolution. It has the same U-shaped notch as the one in its sibling, the K10 Note. When it comes to photography, the A6 Note, unlike the A10 Note, has two rear cameras – a 13MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor. The teaser page reveals that the primary camera can record Full HD videos. The front-facing camera has a mere, 5MP resolution.
The Lenovo A6 Note packs the MediaTek Helio P22 SoC. We couldn’t find anything related to memory configurations on the teaser page. That being said, you can expect the device to be available in two memory configurations — 3GB RAM + 32GB storage, and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage. The operating system, as you might expect, will be Android 9 Pie. All Lenovo smartphones that have launched recently feature stock Android UI. You can expect the same with the Lenovo A6 Note. The Lenovo K6 Note has a 4000mAh battery, and it supports 10W charging.
