Just a few days ago, Realme announced the launch of two new variants of the Realme X2 Pro — the company’s first high-end smartphone for India. These two versions, called the X2 Pro Master Edition, were priced slightly above the standard version and came with a refreshed color scheme. Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth had back then also revealed plans to announce a cheaper, more affordable version of the X2 Pro in the ‘next few days.’ Until now, the base version of the X2 Pro came with 8 GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. This variant is now the mid-tier version thanks to the announcement of the new 6GB model with 64GB of storage that was recently launched. Let’s take a closer look at this version of the handset.
Realme X2 Pro 6GB+64GB version details
As already outlined, the 6GB + 64GB variant of the Realme X2 Pro is now the base version of the device. In terms of the rest of its hardware, the phone is identical to its more expensive brethren. This essentially means that this variant features the same 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a 90 Hz refresh rate with 2.5D curved glass. This panel has a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels in the tall 20:9 aspect ratio. Powering the handset is the Snapdragon 855+ processor from Qualcomm, which, as of now, remains the most powerful SoC available for Android smartphones (until the first devices with the SD 865 launch).
The camera setup on the Realme X2 Pro consists of a quad-camera array at the rear consisting of a 64-megapixel primary sensor mated to a 13-megapixel telephoto camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide angle camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. At the front, the phone gets a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calling. Like the other versions, the base version of the Realme X2 Pro also ships with ColorOS 6.1, which is based on Android 9 Pie. It also gets the uber-fast 50W charger that charges the 4,000 mAg battery in around 30 minutes.
Realme X2 Pro 6GB + 64GB variant price
The new base variant is now on sale as part of the Realme 2020 sale and has been priced at INR 27,999. The pricier 8GB+128GB version costs INR 29,999 while the top-end version goes for INR 33,999. Then there is the master edition series that has been priced at INR 34,999.
Realme X2 Pro 6GB RAM variant is now on sale in India during the Realme 2020 sale, that is being held on Flipkart and Realme.com between January 2 to January 5, 2020. The company initially launched two variants of Realme X2 Pro – 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB of storage priced at Rs 29,999 and Rs 33,999 respectively.
