Why do we want 120FPS games on XBOX Series X and Series S?
We need a higher frame rate supported games and consoles because it shows detailed animations and reduces input lag. Higher frame rate delivers a better and smoother gaming experience, if you are an action game player which have high pace then you will understand why higher frame rates are important. If you compare a game running at 120FPS with a game running at 60FPS then you will get to know the difference.
The aforementioned list is very small, developers have the flexibility of targeting games at different frame rates and resolution. We can safely expect that this list will grow in the near future. Earlier Microsoft has also mentioned that the backward compatibility feature on the XBOX Series X and Series S will double the frame rates of the game titles.
