AirPods 3 Expected to Launch in March 2021, New Leak Suggests: Don’t Expect Active Noise Cancelling

Apple’s next-generation true wireless earphones dubbed as Apple AirPods 3 have been in leaks and rumours for quite a while now. Amid rumours, a new report from @LeakApplePro Twitter handle claimed that the Cupertino tech giant Apple might launch the AirPods 3 in March 2021. Earlier reports also suggest that the company is planning to launch the TWS in the first quarter of 2021. Here’s a closer look at the tweet shared by the tipster.

Going with the previous report the Apple AirPods 3 is expected to arrive with a new design similar to the company’s AirPods Pro. However, in terms of features, the company will surely include new improvements to the upcoming TWS. Reports also claimed that Taiwan Career Technology might be the sole supplier of the upcoming Airpods 3. The earbuds are also tipped to arrive as a stripped-down version of the AirPods Pro with an affordable price tag (at least cheaper than the AirPods Pro). Currently, the Apple AirPods Pro is up for grabs at USD 249 with the wireless charging case.

Gizmochina report also suggests that the upcoming AirPods 3 might get the AirPods Pro design, but it will not come along with the support from Active Noise Cancellation, which is one of the main features of the pro model. However, these are still speculations about the next-gen true wireless earphones and we need to take this with a grain of salt and wait for the official launch.

Although the next-generation TWS still has some time for launch Apple seems to be gearing up for the AirPods Studio launch. Just to recall, AirPods Studio is an over-ear headphone which is expected to launch this week. Let’s see what else Apple is planning for this year and what are its plans for 2021.
