It seems 2021 is going to be incredible for PlayStation with amazing exclusive game titles like Horizon Forbidden West, the God of War sequel, and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. Gran Turismo 7 is one of the popular racing series from game developing firm Polyphony Digital. In the latest video highlights of upcoming PS5 games, this has appeared to be an exclusive title for the newly launched console, that means the game will not support cross-gen. So for playing the GT7 you need to buy a new PlayStation 5.
Gran Turismo 7 video shows that the game is a PS5 exclusive and it will launch in 2021. The same video also showcased Spider-Man: Miles Morales, but the game mentioned that it is also available for PS4. GT7 video didn’t mention anything about the availability for the previous generation console which means that the game will not arrive with cross-gen support. Other games like Horizon Forbidden West will be available for both PS5 and PS4.

The trailer video also mentioned that Square-Enix’s Project Athia will be exclusive for PS5 and PC for two years. On the other hand Bethesda’s Deathloop and Ghostwire: Tokyo will be exclusive for PS5 and PC just for one year after the launch. Just to recall Gran Turismo 7 was first announced back in June this and this is the first GT game since the launch of the Gran Turismo Sport (launch in 2017). Currently, there is not much information about the game.
The GT7 is expected to be released in the first half of 2021. Besides, the trailer video shows jaw-dropping footage of the game title. It also highlighted the arrival of GT Town. Currently it’s too early to jump on any conclusion, we can expect some more information about the game as we move closer to the launch.
