OPPO Reno 5 and Reno 5 Pro 5G are all set to launch in China on December 10th. We already know key specifications, features and design, all thanks to recent leaks and rumours. The OPPO Reno 5 and 5 Pro are said to come with OLED panel along with 64MP quad-camera setup, 65W fast charging, and more. Now, it seems that the brand is planning to launch another smartphone in this series known as OPPO Reno 5 Pro+ 5G. The smartphone’s key information has been revealed on Chinese microsite Weibo. OPPO Reno 5 Pro+ 5G key details leaked online

OPPO is planning to bring all-new Reno 5 Pro+ 5G smartphone, as per the latest post on Weibo. The source has revealed the render of the upcoming smartphone, which reveals a similar design language as compared to the rest of the models in this series. There is a quad-camera setup at the back panel with three aligned vertically and one placed right next to the top camera sensor.

The upcoming smartphone is said to be the first phone to come with 50-megapixel Sony IMX7xx sensor. The other sensors might include a 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 12MP telephoto lens with a 2x optical zoom. That said, the fourth camera functionality is currently not known at the moment.

The leak further reveals that the OPPO Reno 5 Pro+ 5G will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC. Interestingly, the company is planning to bring a plain leather back version of the Pro+ model, which will be the first mass-produced smartphone with an electronic back cover. This is not the first time a brand has opted for electrochromic technology. OnePlus used this technology for its first concept smartphone known as OnePlus Concept One, though it is not commercially available.
