OPPO Reno 6, Reno 6 Pro to Launch in India Soon, Flipkart Availability Confirmed

OPPO is gearing up for the launch of the Reno 6 series in India. According to a recent report, the company was supposed to launch the Pro model of the new Reno series. A Flipkart microsite now confirms that the company is launching not one but two new Reno smartphones in India. The microsite reveals that the upcoming Reno series smartphone coming to India will be the vanilla Reno 6 and Reno 6 Pro. Both devices were launched earlier this year in China. OPPO will launch the Reno 6 series soon. Ahead of the launch, the two Reno smartphones are confirmed to go on sale via Flipkart. OPPO is yet to announce the official launch date of the Reno 6 series. The Flipkart microsite confirms that the Chinese smartphone manufacturer will launch two new OPPO smartphones in India under the Reno series. These include the vanilla Reno 6 and the Reno 6 Pro. The microsite does not reveal the official launch date of the Reno 6 series in India. However, it does tease one of the camera features of the upcoming devices. OPPO’s upcoming Reno smartphones will feature Bokeh Flare Portrait video. When enabled, the feature will offer a shallow depth of field while keeping the subject in focus.

The microsite does not reveal much about the two devices. However, based on the teaser image on the microsite, we can expect the China variants to make their way to India.

In that case, the vanilla model will feature a MediaTek Dimensity 900 5G chipset. The Pro model, on the other hand, will come with a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. There is no word on the launch of the Pro+ model in India for the time being. Both devices come with a 90Hz AMOLED refresh rate display with different screen sizes. The vanilla model has a 6.43-inch FHD+ flat AMOLED display, whereas the Pro model in China has a 6.55-inch FHD+ curved AMOLED display.
