Google is rumoured to debut two new smartphones under the Pixel 6 series. According to reports, the upcoming Google flagship smartphones will launch in October 2021. Google has not officially confirmed the launch at the time of writing this. Meanwhile, some key details of the upcoming Pixel smartphones have leaked. The latest leak reveals the live images of the Pro Pixel smartphone. The live image confirms some of the previously leaked design render images. Google Pixel 6 Pro live images
Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro are rumoured to launch later this year. Ahead of the launch, the Pro model’s live images have leaked. The leaked images spotted by MyDrivers reveal the front and back of the Pro model. It falls in line with the previously leaked CAD render images of the 6 Pro. According to the new live images, the device has a curved display with a hole-punch cutout on the top centre. The bezels at the top and bottom are very thin as well.
On the back, the device has a horizontal camera bump housing multiple sensors and an LED flash. It was previously reported that the Pro model will feature a colour correction sensor alongside the three camera shooters. A small portion of the rear panel above the camera island has a shade of orange. The remaining part of the back panel sports a white colour with the orange Google logo in the centre.
Other details of the Pixel 6 series have also leaked. Both devices will feature a custom Google silicon that is rumoured to debut later this year. As per previous reports, the Google chip is said to be as powerful as the Snapdragon 870 SoC.
The Pro model will sport a triple-camera setup on the back will have a 50MP wide, 12MP ultrawide and a 48MP telephoto camera. Details about the optical zooming capabilities are unknown. For selfies, the device will house a 12MP front camera inside the hole-punch cutout.
The Pro Pixel has a 6.71-inch OLED display, according to rumours. It will support a 120Hz refresh rate and have a QHD+ resolution. There is no mention of the fast charging details. Prosser claims that the Pro model will come with 12GB of RAM and 128GB/ 256GB/ 512GB storage options. It will run Android 12 out of the box. Both devices are claimed to offer at least five years of software support, which is similar to what Apple offers for its iPhones.
