Moto E40 to Sport a 90Hz HD Panel, 48MP Camera, Specs and Price Leaked Via Retailer Listing

Motorola is expected to launch a new device in the E-series dubbed as the Moto E40. The handset’s existence was confirmed by leakster Evan Blass last month. The device was even spotted at Geekbench a few weeks back. Apart from the Geekbench listing, the handset was even spotted at several certifications such as NBTC, FCC and TUV. Now, in a recent development full specifications of the device, pricing and images are revealed by a retailer listing ahead of the official launch. The Moto E40 is currently listed by Romanian retailer eMag. The listing was spotted by reliable tipster Roland Quandt. Let’s check out ahead the specifications of the device in detail:

According to the retailer listing, the Moto E40 will feature a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ 720 x 1600 pixels resolution. The display will have a 90Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole at the center which will house a selfie camera. Under the hood, the E40 is tipped to come with Unisoc 700 chipset. The smartphone is supposed to pack 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. These similar hardware specifications were revealed previously by the Geekbench listing. On the software side of things, the device will boot Android 11 out of the box.

Dimensions-wise the handset is supposed to measure around 168.08 x 75.64 x 9.14mm and it might weigh 198 grams. As far as the imaging aspect of the device goes, it is supposed to feature a triple-camera setup. The rear camera module might include a 48MP primary main camera, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth camera. At the front, the handset is supposed to feature an 8MP selfie camera. Connectivity-wise the device is tipped to offer features such as dual-SIM support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone will also feature a rear-facing fingerprint scanner if we have a look at the images revealed by the retailer.

As far as the pricing of the smartphone goes, it is expected to retail around 779 Lei (roughly Rs 13,630). The handset might launch in Gold and Gray colour options.
