Logitech has replaced the old G502 model by the latest G502 Hero Gaming Mouse. The premium gaming input device has been developed after receiving suggestions from the gaming community.
The G502 which made its debut in 2016 was very popular across the globe. The latest G502 Hero, which sports a similar form-factor, packs a new HERO (High-Efficiency Rated Optical) 16K sensor, 11 programmable buttons, Lightsync RGB technology, a braided cable, and five repositionable weights. The new G502 HERO also allows users to save five different profiles to the mouse which can be accessed anywhere if you carry the mouse along.
The mouse is paired with an all-new lens and an updated tracking algorithm which ensures ultra-precise tracking over the entire DPI range. Further, according to Logitech, the G502 has a range of 16,000 DPI and a tracking speed of over 400 IPS. However, to experience all the features, Logitech recommends you to customise and tune your DPI settings using Logitech’s Gaming Software (LGS). To excite all gaming enthusiasts, there is provision for quick DPI shifting from high to low sensitivity. Also, the mouse hosts a dedicated Sniper button on the left to enable sniper-precision targeting.

Moreover, the Logitech G502 HERO is coupled with the proprietary LIGHTSYNC RGB technology, which is touted to reproduce up to 16 million colors. The wired gaming mouse ships with 11 programmable buttons, which based on the user, can be assigned to handle different tasks. The rubber side grips ensure better handling while the braided cable enhances durability. Weighing 121 grams, the retail box comes with additional weight of 3.6 grams which can be used to make the front or back a bit bulky.
