Microsoft Updates Sticky Notes And Will Release It Soon For Skip Ahead Insiders

Microsoft recently enlightened its users with a teaser of an update to its Sticky Notes app. The small yet convenient app will upgrade to a 3.0 version soon and will be first made available to Microsoft’s Skip Ahead Insiders.

Even though small and of no significant importance, the Sticky Note App from the Windows 10 bouquet is still a handy tool. The app’s users have something big to look forward to as a new upgrade for the same is just around the corner. As per MSPU, not so long ago, Reza Jooyandeh, Engineering Manager, Sticky Notes, Microsoft, informed the users with a teaser-of-sorts of the upcoming 3.0 version of Sticky Notes. It will be soon launched on the Skip Ahead ring for Windows Insiders.

Jooyandeh didn’t offer any details regarding the feature update, so no one knows what Microsoft is planning for the Sticky Note app. Still, it is being speculated that since the app is upgrading to version 3.0, the refresh might be a big one.

Recent Update:

Quite recently, the Sticky Note app saw a slight update in its Menu. Because of this small update, the colour picker got a more elegant design. The settings cog too got other slight tweaks.

Even though Skip Ahead Insiders would get the first look at the new upgraded product, it will be made available on the Microsoft Store soon enough. Interested users can then see and use the new and improved Sticky Notes.

There has been no official word from Microsoft regarding the upgraded Sticky Note app. Therefore, based on teasers left by Jooyandeh on his Twitter account one can at least safely assume that the much in demand ‘dark sticky note’ or dark mode for notes, christened ‘Charcoal Note’ will be part of the 3.0 version of the app. The preview was titled part 1, so it can be safely assumed that Jooyandeh will be leaving more clues in the near future and it will be up to the readers to figure out the features of the probable upgrade.
