OPPO PAGM00 with Snapdragon 710 SoC, 6GB RAM surfaces at Geekbench

On August 23, OPPO took wrap off its all-new smartphones, the OPPO R17 and the OPPO R17 Pro for the Chinese market. Well, the Chinese smartphone maker now seems to be prepping for yet another device, which we think is a cheaper variant of the OPPO R17. The OPPO PAGM00 has now been listed at the Geekbench certification platform, that shows us the device has accomplished 1,656 points in the single-core test, and 5,708 points in the multi-core test.

Oppo PAGM00: Specifications

Going ahead with the details revealed by Geekbench, the OPPO PAGM00 will be packing an octa-core Snapdragon 710 SoC, which will be clocked at 1.71GHz. The phone will come with 6GB of RAM and run Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. And that’s all the information we have for now.

If we recall the earlier details, the OPPO PAGMOO had already been certified by China’s TENAA certification authority two weeks ago. The phone is having the same design, except with the major change coming in with fingerprint sensors. The OPPO R17 and the R17 Pro features the in-display fingerprint sensor, whereas the above-spotted phone features the fingerprint sensor at the rear.

At the time of TENAA certification, there were no prior details about the phone’s specs were revealed. However, if we guess that the device will have the same features as the OPPO R17, we should see the handset coming in with a 6.4-inch FHD+ display, dual 16MP+5MP cameras, 25MP selfie shooter, dual 4G VoLTE, and a 3500mAh battery with 5V/4A  VOOC Flash charge support. Do note that these are only our supposed guess, as OPPO could also announce the above-benchmarked smartphone with some different specifications.

Other Features of The Lighter Version

At the same event on August 23, OPPO also had announced the OPPO R17 Pro, which is the company’s first smartphone to come with a triple camera setup. The R17 Pro sports the same 6.4-inch FHD+ 19:9 display as that of the R17. Under the hood, the Pro model packs Snapdragon 710 chipset, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB memory. This dual-SIM smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with OPPO’s Color OS 5.2 user interface.

Imaging wise, the rear-facing camera consist of 12MP primary sensor, 20MP secondary sensor, and a TOF 3D camera that let’s you get high-precision 3D depth information of the subject. Keeping the lights on, a 3700mAh battery has been installed that has SuperVOOC fast charging support.
