Walmart backed e-commerce site Flipkart is about to begin its Big Billion Days sales. The sale will start on 10th of October and will run till the 14th. During that period, Flipkart is offering amazing deals on smartphones, apparels, electronics, and more. Several offers across various product categories have been lined up. Cashback, buyback guarantees, exchange offers, discounts, EMI benefits, extra discounts on select cards, and more are on offer. One such offer is for the prepaid customers.

The Flipkart Big Billion Days Offer for Prepaid Customers

Existing Flipkart customers who use the Flipkart app to get mobile recharges done are in for a treat. Now a prepaid subscriber of Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel, and Vodafone Idea can earn a recharge worth Rs.300 by paying only Rs.150.

During the Flipkart Big Billion Days sale, any prepaid recharge of Rs.300 or more done through Recharges by Flipkart will instantly earn Rs.150 off on it. The offer validity lasts from October 10-14, the duration of the Flipkart Big Billion Days sale.

Recharges by Flipkart is powered by PhonePe and HDFC Bank credit and debit cardholders earn exclusive deals and extra discounts from Flipkart. To avail the offer, Flipkart subscriber will need to read the terms and conditions carefully.

Recharge by Flipkart

Flipkart had launched its mobile recharge services on its app recently from June this year. The move was made to compete with the growing popularity of its rival Amazon’s payment platform Amazon Pay and its bouquet of services.

PhonePe offers the payment gateway for the prepaid mobile recharges. In the last two quarters only PhonePe transaction volumes more than doubled. Daily over 2 million online transactions are processed through PhonePe. While it undertakes over 1 million offline transactions in a month.

PhonePe was brought in as an exclusive payment partner for Flipkart but with Paytm still leading the online payment space, Flipkart is yet to integrate all PhonePe features into its app.

Popular Recharge Plans on Flipkart

All the private telcos offer a couple of their popular prepaid plans on Flipkart.

Bharti Airtel has a Rs.199 with a validity period of 28-days  on Flipkart that offers its users 3G/4G data benefits along with unlimited voice calling to local and STD numbers. Another prepaid plan is for Rs.448. Under this plan, the subscriber will receive 3G/4G data benefit and allowance to the user to make unlimited local and STD calls for a validity of 82 days.

Reliance Jio’s 28-day prepaid plan can be availed by a subscribers for only Rs.149. The user will get 4G data benefits and unlimited local and STD calls for the amount. The 84-day plan offers similar benefits but for Rs.399.

Similarly, Vodafone India has a 28-day plan that it offers to its subscribers for Rs.199. It is a bundled plan that nets its user unlimited local, STD, and roaming calls, 100 SMS, and a data benefit of 1.4GB data per day. The 84-day plan offers the same voice calling, SMS, and data benefits to its subscribers but for Rs.458.

Idea Cellular’s 28-day plan is for Rs.199 along with which it gives its user unlimited local, STD, and roaming calls and 3G/4G data benefit. Idea has no 84 day plan on offer. Instead, it has a 70-day plan that the user can avail at Rs.398 and get 3G/4G data benefits with local, STD, and roaming call benefits.

As of now, only prepaid recharge plans are available at Flipkart but soon the online retailer will be adding postpaid plans to its kitty as well.
