Needless to say, the notch is basically implemented to allow for more screen space and also houses the front-facing camera. In addition to this is, it has a slightly better resolution of 1080x2280p and a 19:9 aspect ratio. This means that the Redmi 6 Pro will have a sharper screen and a better screen-to-body ratio.

Apart from the notched display, another feature which makes the Redmi 6 Pro a modern phone over the Redmi Note 5 smartphone. The Redmi Note 5 smartphone was equipped with a 12MP sensor while the Redmi 6 Pro is equipped with a dual-rear camera setup of 12MP+5MP. The device is also available through other major online stores like Amazon and Flipkart. It will definitely be a while till we see the Redmi 6 Pro getting discontinued.

Redmi Note 5: Price in India, Availability

Much like the Redmi 6 Pro, the Redmi Note 5 is available online via the Mi online Store and other major online stores like Amazon and Flipkart. The Redmi Note 5 is available in two variants, depending upon memory and storage configurations. The 3GB+32GB variant is available for purchase at Rs 9,999 while the 4GB+64GB variant is priced at Rs 11,999.

Both devices are pretty head to head in terms of performance. It’s clear that the more modern smartphone between the two is the Redmi 6 Pro. However, many may even steer clear of the device considering that it has the notch which has received some controversial reviews. Ultimately, as always, it boils down to individual preference.
