Nokia 8.1 6GB+128GB Variant Launched in India via Amazon, Sale Begins February 6: Price, Features

It was just last month that Nokia launched its mid-range handset, the Nokia 8.1 in India. Back then, the handset was available only in a 4GB RAM + 64GB version. Nokia had, however, back then, revealed that they would launch the higher priced 6GB+128GB variant later. True to their promise, the company officially announced that this new version of the Nokia 8.1 would go on sale starting next week.

Nokia 8.1 6GB+128GB variant: How different is it from the standard version?

If you were considering the Nokia 8.1 as your next handset, you might be wondering which of these versions to choose from now that you will have the option to buy both the 64GB and the 128GB variants in India. At the outset let us remind you that externally, it is impossible to distinguish between these versions.

As far as the internals are concerned, here too, there isn’t much difference except for the RAM and the internal storage capacity. Traditionally, companies have this habit of offering a premium variant of a handset in a different color combination to ensure that it is not mistaken for the standard variant. Nokia seems to be in no mood to offer its consumer such an option and has clarified that the 128GB variant of the Nokia 8.1 would come in the same color options as the standard variant. These color options include Blue/ Silver and Iron/ Steel.

Let us now take a quick look at the specifications of this new variant of the Nokia 8.1
