Samsung Galaxy A50, A30, A10 India Launch Date is February 28, to Go on Sale Via Flipkart

It’s been a week since we have learned about Samsung gearing up to launch three new smartphones under its A-series. The company is all set to make the Galaxy A10, Galaxy A30, and the Galaxy A50 official in India on February 28, 2019. Interestingly, ahead of the launch, Samsung itself revealed a few key details about the phones. Let’s check out more information concerning the sale platform and specs of these upcoming phones.

Ahead of the launch, the Indian e-commerce platform, Flipkart has already made the landing page for the new phones live. The page reveals that the sale for these three new phones will begin on March 2, 2019. There is also a “notify me” button for the interested buyers. Besides, the same landing page has been posted by Samsung on its official India website. The phones will be simultaneously get listed for sale on Flipkart and Samsung’s online store.

The landing page evenly highlights all the premium-level features that one can expect on these phones. Some of the promoted features include Slow-mo video recording, Ultra-wide video recording, Hyperlapse, Infinity Display, and Fast Charging.

Coming to the known specs of these new phones in the Galaxy A-series, the Galaxy A50 will be the most beefed up among the three. The Galaxy A50 will pack a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED full-HD+ Infinity-U display bearing 19:5:9 aspect ratio and 1080×2340 pixels resolution. It will debut in two variants – 4GB RAM+64GB Storage and 6GB RAM+128GB Storage. A 4,000mAh battery will back the phone. Under the hood, the phone will be powered by an octa-core SoC. It will boast 25MP+5MP+8MP triple rear camera setup and a 25MP selfie snapper on the front.

On the other hand, the Galaxy A30 will feature a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED full HD+ Infinity U display with 1080×2340 pixels resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. An octa-core chipset will also power the phone clubbed with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage (expandable up to 512GB via microSD card). A 4,000mAh battery will back the A30. It will have a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and will also support the Face Unlock feature. It will have a 16MP+5MP dual rear camera setup alongside a 16MP front camera.

The Galaxy A10 will be the most affordable among the trio. The A10 is expected to feature a 6.2-inch HD+ Infinity-V display. An Exynos 7884B octa-core processor is rumored to power the phone with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. For optics, it may settle for a 13MP single-lens rear camera and an 8MP selfie camera. A 4,000mAh battery is expected to back the A10. It is tipped to debut in Black and Gold color options.

While the pricing of the Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A10 is still under wraps. A report has surfaced suggesting that the most premium among the three, the Galaxy A50 could be launched at EUR 349 (roughly Rs. 28,100). Going by that price trend, the other two phones should fall under the 20K price bracket in India.
