Samsung is gearing up to launch another phone in the latest M-series in India, the Galaxy M30. The company has slated the launch event for February 27, 2019. While the launch date was known officially, a tweet revealed the sale date for the phone in India as well. The Galaxy M30 will have its first sale on March 5, 2019. Unlike the Galaxy M10 and M20, the Galaxy M30 comes with Super AMOLED Infinity-U display.
Samsung Galaxy M30 Launching Tomorrow, Hitting The Sale Block On March 5
The Samsung Galaxy M30 will be made official tomorrow in India. The company shared launch the details via its Twitter handle. The launch is slated for 6 PM. Interestingly, it is just a day ahead of Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 7 series launch in India. Leakster Ishan Agarwal today revealed that the phone would go on sale on March 5. Samsung is yet to comment on this revelation. Just like the other two M-series smartphones, the Galaxy M30 will also exclusively retail on Amazon India and Samsung’s e-store.
Samsung Galaxy M30 Expected Price in India, Specifications
The Galaxy M30 is an advancement over the other two M-series phones. As we mentioned in the beginning, the phone has an AMOLED screen instead of an LCD panel. It will feature a 6.4-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U Display. Going by the official image posted by Samsung in the teaser, the Galaxy M30 will have a triple camera setup on the rear and a fingerprint sensor. A 5,000mAh battery will back the smartphone. These details stand confirmed.
Rumored specs of the Galaxy M30 hint that the phone will come powered by an Exynos 7904 SoC clubbed with 4GB of RAM. The phone will feature a 13MP+5MP+5MP triple rear camera setup and a 16MP selfie camera on the front. In the setup, the primary 13MP sensor will have an f/1.9 aperture, the secondary 5MP sensor will have an f/2.2 aperture while the third sensor will also have an f/2.2 aperture.
The Samsung Galaxy M30 expected price in India is INR 15,000 for the standard variant. With the M-series, Samsung has laid down its path to reclaim a spot in the mid-range segment in India. By launching the Galaxy M30 tomorrow, the company will compete with Xiaomi who is launching the much-awaited Redmi Note 7 on February 28 in India. However, the Redmi Note 7 seems to have the edge over the Galaxy M30 with its 48MP rear camera. The major deciding factor between the two would be their price tag and other key specs that are yet to be revealed.
