Reliance Jio Launches New Rs 2121 Recharge Plan with 336 Days Validity, Rs 2020 Plan Revoked

Reliance Jio, one of the leading telcos in India, has finally removed the New Year 2020 offer, which it had introduced during the beginning of the year. The plan was in fact the result of a discount on the Rs 2,199 prepaid plan to celebrate the new year. The company has replaced the package with a new Rs 2,121 prepaid plan and this has become the new long-term prepaid recharge plan for Reliance Jio users. Let’s have a look at the latest Rs 2,121 prepaid recharge plan by Reliance Jio, the benefits, talktime, and the offers it brings to the table.

Reliance Jio Launches Rs 2,121 Prepaid Recharge Plan; Benefits and Offers

The newly launched Rs 2,121 prepaid recharge plan by Reliance Jio offers the same benefits as that of the Rs 2,020 prepaid recharge plan, but with a lesser number of days to enjoy the same. Users enjoy 1.5GB of high-speed daily data, unlimited Jio to Jio voice calling and an FUP limit on calls made to non-Jio networks and 100 SMSes per day. The validity of the Rs 2,121 prepaid recharge plan, however, has been reduced by 29 days. This puts the validity of the plan at 336 days. This, therefore, means that Reliance Jio has finally taken down its yearly prepaid recharge plan for now. While other telecom companies like Airtel and Vodafone Idea are offering yearly recharge plans for Rs 2,398 and Rs 2,399 respectively, we can certainly expect Reliance Jio to follow suit and come up with a new yearly recharge plan in the future.

Speaking of non-Jio calling minutes the plan offers, the Rs 2,121 prepaid recharge plan by Reliance Jio comes with 12,000 non-Jio minutes for the entire span of validity. Plus, 1.5GB of data per day amounts to 504GB of total data. Post the FUP limit, users can enjoy unlimited free data at 64Kbps, which is good enough for sending messages on WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, and other social media apps.  Additionally, the Rs 2,121 prepaid recharge plan offers free access to Jio’s host of premium content like JioTV and Jio Cinema.

It won’t take much research to realize that the company has increased the price of its long-term plan with the advent of the Rs 2,121 plan and the removal of the Rs 2,020 prepaid recharge plan. To make things worse, the overall validity of the plan has also decreased when compared with the latter. We can only hope that Reliance Jio will introduce more long-term validity plans in the times to come. Meanwhile, Reliance Jio has unveiled a host of Jio Mini apps, which are intended to include the Jio apps under one roof.
