Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 Confirmed to Get S-Pen Support; Galaxy Z Flip 3 Renders Leaked Alongside

We are aware of the fact that Samsung is prepping up for the launch of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Galaxy Z Flip 3 smartphones. Both these handsets are rumoured to launch in August. In the past few days, we have been seeing multiple new pieces of information regarding these handsets coming out courtesy of various leaks. In a recent development, we saw the Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G getting certified by FCC yesterday. The FCC listing revealed that this upcoming device will come equipped with S-pen and ultra-wideband (UWB) support. The listing also confirmed that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G will have 9W wireless charging support. Now, ahead of launch, the renders of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Galaxy Z Flip 3 are leaked online courtesy of noted leakster Evan Blass.

If we have a closer look at these newly leaked renders, we can see that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G will come with a punch-hole camera. It was rumoured earlier that this upcoming device will have under panel camera (UPC). Several images had appeared in the past, which had shown us the handset having under panel camera (UPC). However, if we have a look at these new renders we can see that the phone will have a punch-hole camera. Additionally, the device doesn’t appear to be thinner compared to its predecessor. One important change we will see this time is that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G will have S-pen support. We can see “Fold Edition” text engraved on the S-pen in the newly leaked renders.

Moving onto the optics details, the device will feature a triple-camera setup. Previous reports suggest us that the rear-facing camera module will occupy a 12MP + 12MP + 16MP camera setup. As per the FCC listing the Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G is said to offer 9W wireless charging support. As far as the details of the Galaxy Z Flip 3 go, the device will feature a dual-camera setup aligned in a vertical fashion, as per the leaked images. The device appears to have a metal frame, and glass on top. The power button and volume keys are placed on the right side of the handset. As far as the launch of these handsets is concerned, the Korean smartphone maker is tipped to launch these two devices by the end of August.
