OPPO seems to be prepping up for the launch of OPPO A55 4G and the OPPO A16K 4G smartphones soon. The reason for this is that these two devices recently has cleared the required BIS and NBTC certification. These certifications reveal only the model number of these devices ahead of launch. Additionally, the camera specifications of these devices are leaked as well courtesy of the Camera FV-5 database. OPPO had launched the OPPO A55 5G smartphone earlier this year in China. It’s just that the company is aiming to launch the A55 4G model. On the other hand, the A16K 4G is a completely new handset that OPPO is yet to launch.
OPPO A55 4G, OPPO A16K 4G Launch Seems Imminent
If we have a glance at the BIS certification details, we can see that the OPPO A55 4G and the A16K 4G possess model numbers as the CPH2325 and CPH2349. Similarly, the NBTC certification shows the same model number as the one revealed by the BIS certification and it also discloses that these two devices will have LTE connectivity support. Apart from the BIS and NBTC certifications, the A55 4G model also has received the EEC certification. As for the optics, the OPPO A55 4G might feature a 13MP rear-facing camera. The 13MP lens could have a f/2.2 aperture and EIS support. On the front side, the device is supposed to sport a 4MP selfie camera. If we have a glance at the A16K leaked camera specifications, the A16K 4G might sport a 2.1 front-facing camera. The rest of the features and specifications of these devices such as the display size, hardware details, and other information remain to be unknown currently.
To recall, OPPO had launched the A55 5G smartphone in China earlier this year. The OPPO A55 5G features a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display that has HD+ 720 x 1600 pixels resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. Powering the device under the hood is Dimensity 700 SoC. The smartphone packs 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It features a 13MP rear-facing camera and a pair of 2MP depth and macro camera units. The front-facing camera the device houses is of 8MP. The OPPO A55 5G is backed by a 5000mAh battery. The device boots Android 11 out of the box. Dimensions-wise the A55 5G measures 163.9×75.7×8.4mm and weighs 186 grams.
