Samsung is prepping up to launch the Galaxy S22 series devices. Similar to the last couple of years, this time also the Korean tech giant is expected to launch three models – Samsung Galaxy S22, Samsung Galaxy S22+, and Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. The latest rumours suggest that the brand might rebrand the S22 Ultra as S22 Note. A couple of days back, the Galaxy S22 Ultra was spotted on the Geekbench database. Now, we have spotted the to-be-launched smartphone on the FCC certification website. The certification website reveals some of the key specifications of the Galaxy S22 Ultra. Along with the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, the S-pen and the LED cover for the phone have also visited FCC. Let us take a look at the details,
The FCC certification listing confirms the connectivity features of the upcoming Samsung flagship. The Galaxy S22 Ultra will support wireless power transfer and UWB (ultra-wideband) technology. It will support 802.11b/g/n/ax WLAN, 802.11/n/ac/ax UNII (5Ghz and 6GHz) Bluetooth (1x, EDR, LE) and NFC. The upcoming handset will feature Multiband LTE and 5G NR support as well.
Alongside the handset, the S-pen with model number EJ-PS908 for the device has also visited FCC certification website. The Stylus pen will have a maximum RF output power of 0.675mW and operate in 2402-2480MHz range. Whereas, the LED cover for the handset carries model number EF-NS908.
The upcoming Samsung Galxy Ultra/Note S22 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. In some markets, the brand will launch its variant with Exynos 2200. The real life photos as well as the renders of the device have already leaked in the past. Samsung is said to unveil the S22 series on 8th Feb in its Unpacked 2022 event.
