Vivo has launched a variety of new smartphones in India, beginning 2022, some of which include the Vivo Y55 5G, Y21A, and the Y75 among others. A fresh new report reveals that the company is gearing up to launch a fresh new smartphone in the country, dubbed the Vivo Y7x.
The upcoming Vivo smartphone is reported to include a 120hz display, be powered by the MediaTek Helio G96 chipset and boot Android 11 out of the box. Let’s take a closer look at the Vivo Y7x, its specifications and everything we know so far.

Vivo Y7x to Launch in India by Early March 2022
According to a report by PassionateGeekz, the Vivo Y7x may arrive by late February or early March in the country. The smartphone is expected to boast a 6.44-inches Full HD+ display with support for a 120hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, the device reportedly packs in a MediaTek Helio G96 SoC, a 4G capable chipset, paired with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. The device is said to have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor embedded into the power button for biometrics. The Y7x will run Funtouch OS based on Android 11 out of the box.
While the other specifications remain a mystery, for now, the phone is believed to compete with Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 11 4G and be priced under Rs 18,000 in the country.
The Vivo Y75 5G, launched earlier in India, features a 6.58-inch Full HD+ LCD display with a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. For optics, the phone packs in a triple-camera setup comprising of a 50MP primary sensor, 2MP depth lens, and a 2MP macro sensor.
Powering the smartphone is the MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor along with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The Vivo Y75 5G comes with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W rapid charging.
