Google Pixel 6a is expected to launch later this year. The company’s affordable phone, the Pixel 6a has been leaked previously giving us a first look at the renders of the phone. The device is said to feature the same chipset as the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro. Now, the Google Pixel 6a has been spotted on Geekbench listing revealing some of the key features like processor, RAM, OS version, and much more. Let’s take a look at some of the key specs of Google’s upcoming device.
Google Pixel 6a Spotted on Geekbench
The Pixel 6a has been listed on Geekbench revealing several key specifications of the device. For starters, the phone will be powered by Google’s in-house Tensor chipset, just like the Pixel 6 series phones. It will come with two Arm Cortex-X1 cores clocked at 2.80GHz, two Arm Cortex-A76 cores running at 2.25GHz, and four power-efficient cores clocked at 1.8GHz. The chipset will be paired with Mali-G78 GPU. Further, the listing reveals 6GB of RAM and it will run on the Android 12 operating system out of the box.
As for the scores on the Geekbench, the Pixel 6a has scored 1050 points in the single-core test and 2883 in the multi-core test. While there is no confirmation on the launch date of the phone yet, we could see the phone launching soon as the device has been spotted on the Geekbench.
The Google Pixel 6a will be water down version of the Pixel 6 from last year. While the Pixel 6 series was not launched in India, the Pixel 6a might hit the Indian market this year. The phone is expected to feature a 12.2MP Sony IMX363 primary camera accompanied by a 12MP Sony IMX396 ultrawide camera. The phone is also said to feature an 8MP Sony IMX355 selfie camera. The phone will also come with a 6.2-inch Full HD+ display on the front.
