Oppo recently launched the Oppo Reno9 series in the Chinese market. To those unaware, the Reno9 series consists of three devices – Oppo Reno9, Oppo Reno9 Pro, and Oppo Reno9 Pro+. However, it seems like, before the introduction of Reno9 series in global markets, Oppo might launch yet another Reno8 series smartphone – the Oppo Reno8 T. We have spotted the upcoming Oppo Reno8 T on the SIRIM certification website. The SIRIM certification listing for the Oppo Reno8 T also revealed the model number of the device which is CPH2481.
Upon digging further, we could spot CPH2481 on EEC, TKDN, and Bureau of Indian Standards certification websites. The appearance on several certification websites does hint toward an imminent launch. Also, the Element Materials Technology listing for the upcoming Oppo Reno8 T reveals that the smartphone will come equipped with 33W fast charging. Let us take a closer look at the details.

The Oppo Reno8 T with the model number CPH2481 made an appearance on several certification websites including the TKDN, EEC, BIS, and SIRIM. However, none of these certification listings reveal anything about the Oppo Reno8 T in terms of specifications. The only thing that is known about the Oppo Reno8 T is that it will support 33W fast charging. We can expect it to feature SuperVOOC fast charging support.
Apart from it, there is nothing known about the Oppo Reno8 T as of now. However, we can expect the upcoming Oppo smartphone to visit other certification websites as well in the coming days/weeks. Whenever that happens, we will update our readers with the developments. It is not clear in which markets Oppo plans to launch the Oppo Reno8 T. However, since the smartphone has acquired BIS certification, we can expect it to see in India as well.

Motorola has teased the launch of its next flagship smartphone, the Motorola X40 Pro. The upcoming Motorola flagship smartphone will launch with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. Motorola is likely to launch the phone in global markets, including India, as the Edge 40 Pro. The device is likely to debut in China in December 2022. While you wait for the official launch date announcement, MySmartPrice brings to you the design renders of the Motorola X40 Pro, aka the Edge 40 Pro.
Courtesy of tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer, aka OnLeaks, the design renders reveal the Motorola Edge 40 Pro’s front and rear panel design. The leaked renders suggest that the Moto Edge 40 Pro is set to get some design changes compared to the outgoing model. Let’s take a look at the Motorola Edge 40 Pro design renders, specifications and other details ahead of its official launch.
Motorola X40 Pro design renders
The Motorola Edge 40 Pro is expected to launch early next year in India. Prior to its India launch, the phone will debut as the Motorola X40 Pro in China. The Motorola flagship is getting some design changes compared to the Edge 30 Pro, according to the high-quality design renders shared by OnLeaks exclusively with MySmartPrice.
The rear panel of the phone now sports a square-shaped camera module. It will house a triple-camera setup and an LED flash inside. At the centre of the back panel is the Motorola logo.
1 of 4
On the front, there is a hole-punch cutout at the top centre of the 6.67-inch curved display. The design renders also confirm that the phone’s right spine houses the power button and the volume rocker. The USB Type-C port can be found sandwiched between the primary speaker grille and the microphone cutout. There are cutouts at the top edge, which could presumably be for the secondary speaker or a microphone.
The Motorola X40 Pro measures 161.3 x 73.9 x 8.6mm, as per the latest leak we have received from OnLeaks. With the camera module bump, the device is 10.8mm thick. The X40 Pro 5G is likely to come with a glass back. Motorola launched the Edge 30 Pro with a plastic frame but considering the Edge 30 Fusion came with a metal chassis, we can expect the upgrade to be passed on to the upcoming successor phone too. Since the render images have antenna lines on the frame, we can expect the X40 5G to feature a metal frame.
Moto X40 Pro: Specifications and everything we know so far
Other details of the Motorola flagship phone have been tipped in the past. The smartphone is likely to sport a 6.67-inch OLED display with a Full HD+ resolution. It will support a 165Hz refresh rate and is likely to come with HDR10+ certification as well.
The rear camera setup will feature a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide camera and a new 12MP telephoto camera, according to the rumour mill. For selfies, there will be a 60MP front camera sensor.
Under the hood, there will be the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The phone reportedly outperformed the Dimensity 9200 SoC’s score on AnTuTu. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2-powered Edge 40 Pro scored 1312901, whereas the Dimensity 9200 SoC scored 1266101.
We can expect Motorola to launch the phone with up to 12GB of RAM. The base model will feature 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The 12GB RAM option, on the other hand, could come with 256GB of internal storage.
The phone is confirmed to come with an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. It is likely to pack a beefy 5000mAh battery and 68W fast charging support. Lastly, it will boot Android 13-based MyUX 4.0 out of the box.

Which is the best electric car of 2022?
Volvo XC Recharge.
Which is the most reliable electric car?
The Tata Altroz is the most reliable electric car because of the service network and after-sales support provided by the Tatas.
Which electric car has the longest range?
Mahindra XUV400 EV has the longest range at 450+ km on a single charge. There are other cars, too, in this league, but this one edges them out by a small margin.
What are the disadvantages of electric cars?
While electric cars are great, they do have certain disadvantages.
Frequent charging – Most cars have a range of 100 km on a single charge. That might be enough for inter city travel, but if you want to go on a long drive, you are at a disadvantage.
Silent – This is an issue with all-electric vehicles. They’re completely silent. People can’t hear you coming, making them unsafe to a certain degree.
Expensive – EVs are expensive. You might have some cost savings in the long run, but the initial expenditure is high.
Charging points – Apart from your own home, charging points are few and far between. It could get logistically difficult if you own an electric vehicle to charge whenever you need to.
Battery repairs/replacement can be costly – Since they are at the heart of an EV, and responsible for powering the car, batteries tend to be one of the costliest components in an EV. While the frequency might not be too high, batteries may break down or need repairs, and this costs a fair bit.
Low choice – You don’t have much choice regarding electric cars. There might be a few models in the market, but your choice ends there. You have to wait for a bit as electric cars become more mainstream, and more models will be launched.
The future of electric cars in India is quite bright. A lot many manufacturers, some old timers, and some new entrants are launching their vehicles in the coming year, so you will have a wider choice of EVs to choose from. As for charging on the go, that should improve over time as more and more charging stations open up purpose-built for EVs. All in all, electric cars in India have a bright future.
Google's next affordable smartphone, the Pixel 7a, has been leaked in all its glory in some nifty looking renders today. The Pixel 7a unsurprisingly borrows massively from the Pixel 7 in terms of the design of its back, which makes sense considering they're theoretically part of the same generation of smartphones from Google's stable - even though we're most likely still some months away from the official unveiling of the 7a. The Pixel 6a aped the Pixel 6's visor-like camera island, and in the same vein, the Pixel 7a apes the Pixel 7's metal bar. On the front, however, the price...
