He stated that “it’s time to deliver” on a foldable device after consumer surveys carried out by the company showed that there is a market for this kind of handset. Furthermore, commenting on the design of this smartphone, Koh stated that Samsung is trying to differentiate the experience from a tablet once it is unfolded. He added that when almost every functioning would be possible when the device is folded, but if you want to carry out some extra things, i.e browse or see something, you may need to unfold it. Further, he also added that “every feature, every innovation should have a meaningful message to our end customer. So when the end customer uses it, (they think) ‘wow, this is the reason Samsung made it’.”

In addition to these many details, CEO Koh even explained that Samsung might unveil this foldable smartphone at the Samsung Developer Conference in November, which is taking place in San Francisco. Koh even acknowledged that the development process of this device is complicated, but somehow Samsung has officially concluded it.
