The Nokia 5. 1 Plus is an Android One smartphone, making it one of the first smartphones to get the latest Android 9.0 (Pie) update.

The Nokia 5.1 Plus features a 5.86-inch notched IPS LCD display with 720 x 1520 HD+ resolution and a 19:9 aspect ratio. The screen size is identical to that of the Nokia 6.1 Plus.

Camera

The Nokia 5.1 Plus features 13MP + 5MP dual-camera setup with an AI Portrait mode and Full HD video recording support. The primary image sensor on the device also comes with features like phase-detection autofocus and a f/2.0 aperture. The other storage variant offers 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. The memory is further expandable to 256GB using a microSD card. Identical to the Nokia 6.1 Plus, the 5.1 Plus also comes with a Hybrid Dual SIM configuration.

For imaging, there is 13MP + 5MP dual-camera setup with an AI Portrait mode and Full HD video recording support. The primary 13MP has an aperture of f/2.0. On the software front, the Nokia 5.1 Plus runs the Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. The device is confirmed to receive the Android Pie update.

Nokia 5.1 Plus: Price in India, Availability

The company did not reveal the price of the smartphone at the launch event. It is expected to announce it soon, somewhere around the time of the release of the device. The price of the device, as suggested by the company in the global market is 199 euros (approximately Rs.16,000). We are expecting the price to be lower than that in India. The device will go on sale in India starting September. It will be available on Flipkart as well as the Nokia India online store.
