Chinese smartphone maker, Vivo, is planning on launching a new mid-range smartphone very soon. We haven’t really heard a lot about this new phone, but out of nowhere, several leaks have surfaced. The device is called the Vivo Z3i, and seems to be the successor of the Vivo Z1i, which was launched a few years ago. Vivo has been launching new mid-range smartphones left, right and centre, but the company is not done yet. The Z3i, has most recently popped up on a leaked unboxing video, and a teaser on Vivo. The unboxing video reveals all the details about the phone. Read on, to know more details.
Vivo Z3i: Unboxing Video
The unboxing video posted on YouTube shows the packaging of the device, the phone itself, and the software. The Vivo Z3i boots up and the user shows a quick look around the phone. You can watch the full video below.
As you can see from the video, the phone has a modern design. It gets a glossy glass back with gradient colours, and a waterdrop notch at the front. The phone looks rather premium on first glance. A chin is present at the bottom of the device, which is common in most mid-range smartphones with slim side-bezels. You can also see that the phone gets a dual-rear camera setup, and a fingerprint sensor at the back.
The Vivo Z3i is most likely targeted at the youth. The current generation loves a flashy smartphone with decent specifications, a large display, good battery backup, and a good selfie camera. That’s what most people are after, at least the youth. You may have also noticed that the phone looks very similar to the recently launched Vivo V11 Pro. No, this doesn’t have an in-display fingerprint scanner, but the design is pretty similar.
The device in the unboxing video is the Blue version, but there will also be another red variant. We have no details about the pricing or the official launch date for the phone.
Vivo Z3i: Specifications
The video also reveals the specifications of the Vivo Z3i. The phone is equipped with a 6.3-inch LCD display with Full HD+ display, a waterdrop notch, and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Vivo has used a MediaTek Helio P60 processor to power the smartphone. This is a pretty good mid-range processor and should take to be more than enough for gaming and entertainment.
The processor is coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. A microSD card slot is available for further memory expansion. On the back, the dual-camera setup consists of a 16MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. A 24MP camera is available on the front for selfies. The phone comes with several AI features to aid in photography. It is backed by a 3315mAh battery, which does support fast charging.
