Vivo V15 Pro Leaked Poster Reveals Full Design, Key Features; Pre-orders to Begin on Februray 15

Vivo has been teasing a new smartphone launch with a pop-up selfie camera: Vivo V15 Pro. It was being expected that Vivo would launch the new phone in the Indian market this month, February 20, 2019, to be exact. Now, a new image of the Vivo V15 Pro has been leaked on the internet, showcasing its design, bezel-less screen, pop-up selfie camera, and triple rear-facing camera setup. The Chinese smartphone brand will also launch the Vivo V15 in India alongside the Vivo V15 Pro.

Vivo V15 Pro Design, Features

The Vivo V15 Pro’s first clear renders were posted by Indian tech publication 91Mobiles, and the image shows the device in blue. Both front and rear of the V15 Pro are visible in the leaked image. The phone appears to use a glass-and-metal sandwich design, similar to many mid-range and high-end phones these days. However, there’s something different: an attractive wavy pattern.

The Vivo V15 Pro appears to have a bezel-less screen and its 32MP selfie camera is hidden inside the phone’s frame and it pops up when required. There appears to be a very small chin below the screen. The phone will use an in-display fingerprint reader and a piezoelectric speaker to replace a conventional earpiece. This is similar to the design of the Vivo NEX (Review), which was launched last year. It is good to see newer technologies trickle down from high-end phones to mid-range phones in a span of less than a year.

At the rear, the phone appears to have a triple-camera setup at the rear alongside a dual-LED flash. These details can be noticed in an image tweeted by @MAHESHTELECOM on Twitter. The Vivo V15 Pro could feature a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 675 processor, dual-SIM card slot, and a 3400mAh battery. There will be a 3.5mm headphone jack at the top and a USB Type-C port at the bottom. It is unlikely that the phone will offer any kind of dust or water resistance due to its pop-up selfie camera design. If any additional information leaks on the internet, we will report about it.

Vivo V15 Pro Expected Pricing, Launch Date

As mentioned earlier, the Vivo V15 Pro will launch in India on February 20 and we have already received the launch invite. It could be priced in the sub-INR 25,000 price segment. This will then likely replace the Vivo V11 Pro, which was launched in India last year with a price tag of INR 25,990. Pre-orders could start on February 15, and the company will reportedly partner with Bajaj Finserv, HDFC Bank, HDB Financial, and Jio for attractive launch offers on the Vivo V15 series.

The phone will likely be heavily marketed during the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket season as Vivo is the title sponsor of the IPL. The company had even launched IPL special edition versions of its V series smartphones in the past. Vivo has already dropped the pricing (MOP) of the V11 Pro from INR 25,990 to INR 23,990.
