Once we cover the differences, we will also be taking a look at what’s common between the Honor 20 series phones.
Honor 20 Pro vs Honor 20 vs Honor 20i: Difference in Price in India
The flagship-grade Honor 20 Pro is priced at INR 39,999 in India, making it a little more affordable than the OnePlus 7 Pro. On the other hand, Honor 20 has been priced at INR 32,999 in the country. The most affordable Honor 20 series smartphone is the Honor 20i, which will set you back INR 14,999. While the Honor 20 will go on sale in India starting from June 25th via Flipkart, the Honor 20i will be up for grabs from Flipkart June 18th onwards. Honor is yet to reveal exactly when the Honor 20 Pro will be available for sale in the country.
Honor 20 Pro vs Honor 20 vs Honor 20i: Difference in Specifications
The Honor 20 Pro features a 6.26-inch sized IPS LCD display panel with Full HD+ resolution and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. There is no In-display fingerprint scanner though. Instead, the Honor 20 Pro uses a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Since it is a flagship-grade product, the Honor 20 Pro features Huawei’s latest Kirin 980 octa-core processor built on a 7nm process. For smooth gaming performance, the smartphone comes with the GPU Turbo 3.0 technology as well. In terms of memory, the Honor 20 Pro will be sold in India in a single variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. On the back of the phone is a quad-camera setup featuring a 48MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor, 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens, an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 2MP camera for macro shots. For selfies, the phone has a 32MP front-facing camera with 3D portrait lighting and an f/2.0 aperture. The Honor 20 Pro is quite impressive in terms of battery life as well, thanks to a large 4000mAh battery with 22.5W “SuperCharge” fast charging support.
Honor 20 has the same 6.26-inch IPS LCD All-View display as the Honor 20 Pro and runs on HiSilicon’s Kirin 980 flagship mobile processor. In the memory department, however, the standard Honor 20 packs lower 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. The quad-camera setup on the back is slightly different as well. The 48MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor is joined by a 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens, 2MP macro snapper, and a 2MP depth sensing module. Fueling the Honor 20 is a slightly smaller 3750mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging.
Honor 20i comes with a 6.21-inch display featuring a waterdrop cutout and Full HD+ resolution. Powering the budget Android smartphone is a 12nm HiSilicon Kirin 710 octa-core processor with an ARM Mali-G51 MP4 GPU. The handset includes 4GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage, which can be further expanded by up to 512GB with a microSD card. Unlike the Honor 20 and 20 Pro, the 20i sports a triple-camera setup on the back. It features a 24MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, 2MP secondary sensor, and an 8MP ultra-wide snapper. It is also the only smartphone in the Honor 20 series to feature a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel. Keeping the lights on is a 3400mAh battery.
Honor 20 Pro vs Honor 20 vs Honor 20i: What Remains the Same
As you would expect, there are very few things that are common between the three Honor 20 series smartphones. All the three models feature an impressive 32MP resolution selfie camera. The other similarity between the three models is the software. Honor 20 Pro, Honor 20, and Honor 20i all run on the latest EMUI 9.0 custom user-interface based on Android Pie.
